The first version of this design went live towards the end of September last year. It was very simple, all it had was a couple of headers, a few blocks of text, and a handful of links to other sites.

The site didn’t have any great overriding purpose at this point. I planned to use it as a dumping ground for some of the weird things I do with my time—see my projects for a better idea of what I’m talking about.

In terms of materials, I had the original PSD file which the images were created in, and not a lot else. There was no planning that went into this design, it just kind of happened ^_^.

That should have set the background for me to write about the two big updates I have made to the site since then.
